Loret Deaton Evans - Organist
Loret Evans has faithfully served as organist for
Malesus United Methodist Church for many years. She began as a teenager,
playing from 1969 - 1973. After college she returned in 1979 and continues to
serve through the present.
Loret holds a B.A. from Lambuth University and a
master's degree from the University of Memphis. She has taught music and
elementary grades for 30 years, currently teaching 2nd Grade at Malesus Elementary
School.
Her two sons, Jim & Dylan are her pride and joy,
and her spare time is spent following their baseball and football careers, Jim
at Jackson State Community College, and Dylan at Lambuth University.
